- Subject
These General Conditions have as their object the purchase of products made remotely via computer network on the website Galeno Editore srl belonging to Galeno Editore srl with registered office in Rome, viale Jonio n. 207.
These purchases are reserved for direct customers, with the exclusion of subjects such as traders, wholesalers, retailers, professionals, etc.. who intend to resell to third parties their products.
Each purchase transaction will be governed by the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 185/99 and, with regard to the protection of confidentiality, will be subject to the regulations set out in current law and subsequent amendments. - Acceptance of the general conditions of sale
The Customer, by sending electronic confirmation of their purchase order, unconditionally accepts and undertakes to observe, in its relations with Galeno Editore srl, the general conditions and payment transcribed below, declaring to have read and accepted all the information provided to him under the above rules, also noting that Galeno Editore srl itself is not bound to different conditions unless previously agreed in writing.
- Customer commitments
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale have to be examined online by Customers visiting the Galeno Editore srl website before they confirm their purchases. The forwarding of the order confirmation therefore implies total knowledge of them and their full acceptance.
The Customer undertakes and obliges, once the online purchase procedure has been completed, to print and keep these general conditions of sale, already viewed and accepted during the purchase process, in order to fully satisfy the condition set out in Articles 3 and 4 of Legislative Decree no. 185/1999.
- Purchasing methods
Purchases of the products, available as illustrated and described online in the relative descriptive and technical sheets, are made by the Customer at the price indicated therein, to be confirmed at the time the order confirmation is sent, in addition to the transport costs as specified below in art. 6, and in any case displayed at the time of purchase.
Before the confirmation of the purchase to the Customer will be summarized the unit cost of each product chosen, the total cost in case of purchase of more than one product and the related transport costs if applicable. Confirming the purchase, upon completion of the transaction, the Customer will receive an e-mail message containing the date and total amount of his order and the details of the same.
- Payments
The payment of the purchased products and related shipping costs are paid by the customer when the order confirmation is sent using one of the credit cards available and indicated online.Payment by credit card or Paypal
We accept all major credit cards and Paypal. We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express cards. User data is transmitted encrypted according to the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) system directly to the Bank’s or Paypal’s server. Please note: your account will be debited when you place your order.
- Delivery of products
The purchased products will be immediately downloadable if purchased in download mode or delivered by Galeno Editore srl to the address indicated by the Customer.
Each shipment contains:
-invoice
-ordered merchandise
Deliveries of the products will take place on all working days. The delivery of the Products by Galeno Editore srl may be split, without any liability for Galeno Editore srl.
The couriers used do not make prior phone calls or handle requests for shipments at particular times.
Orders will be processed only with fully available goods.
Delivery times and relative costs depend on the availability of the product, the shipping methods and the chosen carrier.
The Customer is required to check that the package is intact, undamaged or wet.
Only after this verification the Customer must accept the delivery, after which he will not be able to make any objection about the external characteristics of what has been delivered to him in relation to the order placed. If there is no correspondence between the order and the delivery, according to the above mentioned procedures, the customer will not have to accept the goods, will have to raise the complaint directly to the carrier and send an email through the Online Customer Service.
- Guarantees and defective products
The products purchased through Galeno Editore srl are subject to the regulations, to the extent applicable, as per Legislative Decree no. 24 of 2.2.2002 (G.U. no. 57, 8.3.2002) on sales contracts and guarantees concerning consumer goods and, to the extent not provided for therein, to the specific provisions of the Civil Code.
This warranty shall apply to products with conformity defects and/or malfunctions not found at the time of purchase, provided that the product itself is used correctly and with due diligence, i.e. in compliance with its intended use and with the provisions of any technical documentation, in compliance with the various operating standards indicated therein.
The aforesaid warranty will not be applicable in case of negligence, carelessness in the use of the product. The warranty is personal and will therefore apply only to the original purchaser, being reserved for direct customers and not for dealers, retailers, etc..
Galeno Editore srl reserves the right to verify the defect stated by the customer and to make the replacement only after such control.
The request will be processed only if the following documents are present in the returned package: purchase invoice, order number and date, brief description of the defect found.
- Right of withdrawal
Purchases made on the Galeno Editore srl website are governed by Italian law concerning mail order sales. If you have made a mistake in your order and received an item you did not want, you have 10 days from the date of delivery to exercise the right of withdrawal, i.e. the possibility to return the product.
We will accept without hesitation the return of any item, provided it is in perfect condition, refunding the entire amount (except for packaging and shipping costs, as provided for by Italian law).
Include in the shipping package for the return, which must be correctly packaged, a copy of the delivery note and send it to: Galeno Editore srl, registered office in Rome, viale Jonio n. 207.
